Did you think Avengers Endgame was a marathon? Are you intrigued by long-form narratives about larger-than-life characters?! Then join your fellow CSHP participants for this one-of-a-kind experience in Wagner's classic, operatic vision of the mythic end of the gods- Ragnarok (no, not Thor: Ragnarok, close though!).

Sung in German with projected English translations, Twilight of the Gods is the culminating piece of the Ring cycle.

Telling the tragedy of the warrior-maiden Brünnhilde, her beloved hero Siegfried, and all the gods- Götterdämmerung is nothing less than the end of one world, the beginning of a new one, and the ultimate triumph of love over evil.

In the entire operatic repertoire, you won’t find greater musical and dramatic grandeur, or more staggeringly intense emotions, than in Wagner’s Twilight of the Gods. Only a work of this scale could close the monumental Ring cycle. Seeing and hearing it in a live performance is one of the greatest experiences that any operagoer can enjoy. Please note the lengthy runtime!

Running Time - 5 hours, 15 minutes with 2 intermissions
