Hubbard Street Dance, is best known for its lasting impact on the world of American contemporary dance, founded and developed in our very own backyard. Whereas Malpaso innovates upon the long-standing tradition of Cuban dance in Havana. Combined they will conjure a unique collaborative performance unlike any you've seen before.
Be amazed as Malpaso Dance Company breaks new ground with a world-premiere piece by Chicago’s Robyn Mineko Williams, commissioned by the Auditorium Theatre. Then, pick your jaw up from the floor as dancers from Hubbard Street premiere new work developed by Malpaso Artistic Director, Osnel Delgado, and remount Mineko's 2017 work Cloudline. All while Delgado and a Hubbard Street dancer also perform his duet piece Ocaso (2013). This one of a kind performance featuring pioneer companies in the world of dance is not to be missed.
