Honoring political scientist’s five decades spent making the world ‘more just and democratic’
Honors College Faculty Fellow Dick Simpson, professor of Political Science, was recently honored for 50 years of service. As coordinator of the “Future of Chicago” lecture series, Prof. Simpson invited civic leaders to campus to talk about issues of civic and political importance; through a unique partnership with the Honors College, Honors students have been given the opportunity to discuss topics in a more informal setting over lunch.
