Honors Fellow op-ed on the recent Florida condominium collapse and climate published by the Washington Post
Evan McKenzie, an Honors College Fellow, writes in an op-ed published by the Washington Post about the recent Florida condominium collapse, questioning whether the recent building collapse might be an example of a larger problem in building safety due to Climate Change. McKenzie is a UIC professor and the head of political science as well as a faculty member at UIC School of Law. The Washington Post also interviewed McKenzie in a Q&A on condominium building safety.
