UIC team led by Honors College student, wins first place in the 2025 NASA Lunabotics competition
Introduction
Honors student and team captain Elijah Wilkinson, along with Honors teammate Davin Doan, led UIC to a first-place win in the Robotic Construction category at NASA’s 2025 Lunabotics Challenge. The competition took place in early June at the Astronauts Memorial Foundation’s Center for Space Education in Florida.
The Chicago Engineering Design Team is a student organization from UIC. Each year, the team enrolls in college-level competitions, which require a diverse set of engineering backgrounds including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science.
