Celia DeBoer is an Honors Academic Advisor, HON 101 instructor and the Program Specialist over Experiential Learning, which includes internships, research, service, and study abroad. Celia joined the Honors College in December 2022. Previously, she worked as the Liberal Studies Program Coordinator at DePaul University managing the general education curriculum. She is a triple Demon, having received her B.A. in Political Science, M.A. in Women’s and Gender Studies, and M.Ed. in Curriculum Studies from DePaul University. She is also a certified yoga and prenatal yoga instructor who focuses on mind-body awareness to build community. Not only is she passionate about yoga, she also enjoys biking, crossword puzzles, science fiction, and walking her dog, Dewey.
Celia completed the following honors activities in undergrad: internships, research, study abroad, service, and capstone.
