Laura joined the Honors College in February 2023, serving as an Honors Academic Advisor and Program Specialist for scholarships. Prior to joining the Honors College team, she was a graduate advisor at Concordia University Chicago and a high school social studies teacher in History, Civics, and Psychology. Laura earned her B.A. in Psychology (2017) and MAT in History (2021) at UIC. She has worked all around campus, including in the Philosophy Department, History Department, Writing Center, Special Collections and University Archives, Career Services, and Office of Health Literacy.
Outside of UIC, Laura enjoys traveling, birdwatching, and playing video games. She hopes to travel to Alaska to find the elusive dovekie.
