One of the greatest parts about UIC is the fact that its campus exists adjacent to, and/or, within some of the greatest Chicago neighborhoods including Pilsen, Little Italy, Little Village, and the South Loop. Much like getting used to the campus, traversing the city that exists outside of the borders of UIC can be challenging for those who are unfamiliar with the area. Thankfully, however, your Honors Ambassadors are happy to help guide you in this!
Join us if you'd like to get to better know some of the neighborhoods and areas that are at your fingertips as a student at UIC. Hosted over Zoom, from the comfort of your own space, you'll have the chance to view and participate in a live tour of select areas just outside of campus, given by a current Honors Ambassador. Along with other students like yourself, you'll learn about some of the coolest spots that are just a stone's throw from the Honors College in Burnham Hall.
