Faculty Fellows Recognized in Researcher and Scholar of the Year Awards
Five Honors College Faculty Fellows are among the 10 UIC scientists who will be recognized at the Research, Scholar, and Inventor of the Year Awards this spring. The Distinguished Researcher Award honors three researchers with a record of outstanding achievement. The Rising Star Award honors early career researchers who show promise as future leaders. The Faculty Fellows award recipients are:
- Dr. Rachel Gordon, Distinguished Research in Social Sciences
- Dr. Yury Polikanov, Rising Star in Basic Life Sciences
- Dr. Zaijie (Jim) Wang, Distinguished Research in Basic Life Sciences
- Dr. Jie Xu, Rising Star in Natural Sciences & Engineering
- Dr. Tanya Berger-Wolf, Distinguished Researcher in Natural Sciences & Engineering
