Honors Fellow co-authored report featured in Chalkbeat Chicago article

Kate Zinsser, an Honors College Fellow and UIC Associate Professor of Psychology and principal investigator at the Social-Emotional Teaching and Learning Lab, is co-author of a report that's featured in an article in Chalkbeat Chicago. The article outlines an Illinois law that went into effect in January 2018 about curbing early childhood education expulsions, but Zinsser and her team's research suggests institutions still find other ways to exclude certain children.
