Honors Student recipient of annual Sister Dorothy Drobis Award

Julia Starzycka is the recipient of the Sister Dorothy Drobis Award, an annual award based upon academic excellence and leadership majoring in education. Julia is a junior Honors Student majoring in Teaching of Mathematics and is a teaching assistant for UIC HON 101. Julia is a member of the UIC Honors College Advisory Board, Office of Mathematics Education Student Advisory Board, and the Mathematics Education Research Discussion Group. Julia is passionate about education, her goals are to encourage and inspire underrepresented students pursuing STEM careers.
