Honors Student recipient of prestigious Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship

Ashma Pandya, an Honors Student majoring in biochemistry with a minor in computer science, will receive the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship, an award considered to be one of the most prestigious scientific honors for sophomores and juniors in the U.S. Ashma ambitions include building the first living cell prototype. After graduation in 2023, Pandya envisions completing a Ph.D. in biophysics to focus on studying the origin of life.
