New Scholarship Opportunity: Van Hecke and Baechle Award Open Now

The Honors College is pleased to announce a new competitive scholarship open to all Honors students: The Van Hecke and Baechle Award.
Guidelines and Criteria:
The Van Hecke and Baechle Award is awarded each Spring semester to a full-time student in the UIC Honors College. The recipient shall be in good standing with the university and Honors College, show evidence of significant unmet need for financial assistance and must be currently enrolled full-time in the Spring and plan to be enrolled full-time in the following Fall term (Spring graduates are not eligible to apply). A FASFA or alternative aid document must be on file and display unmet need in order for the application to receive fullest consideration. One scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis.
The deadline to apply is January 31st at 11:59 pm. Students can apply at https://uic.academicworks.com/.
