UIC Honors Student selected for a Gates-Cambridge Scholarship
Anis Barmada, a UIC Honors College senior majoring in biological sciences and chemistry in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, was selected for a Gates-Cambridge Scholarship, a highly competitive selection award which emphasizes outstanding academic achievement and social leadership. He will pursue a master’s degree in genomic medicine at the School of Clinical Medicine at Cambridge.
