Academic Advisor & Program Specialist
About
Andi Regalbuto joined UIC’s Honors College in August 2024 as an Honors Academic Advisor and Program Specialist. In this role she teaches HON 101, advises students, and supports the Chicago Signature Honors Program and Faculty Fellows Program. She comes to UIC with a B.A. in Sociology and a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Peace Studies, and recently completed an M.A. and International Education Management and a Master of Public Administration. Before joining UIC, Andi worked in various regions of the world and the US within the field of education. Her work has focused on access to education and experiential learning, including completing a Fulbright to Serbia. She is excited to now work with Honors College students to support their personal, professional, and academic development.
During her undergrad, Andi completed the following honors activities: internships, capstone, and study abroad.
Outside of work you will find Andi reading, spending time at Lake Michigan, traveling, and attending concerts with friends!
