Did you know UIC’s Spring Day of Service is Friday, April 5? This is a great opportunity to volunteer and build community with others. Specifically, the Honors College has arranged a morning session of service with Pilsen Food Pantry.
Join Celia DeBoer, Honors College Academic Advisor & Program Specialist over Experiential learning, to volunteer at Pilsen Food pantry Friday, April 5 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
We will meet at 8:15 AM, then will travel by CTA bus to Pilsen Food Pantry. After volunteering, students have the option to come back to campus for lunch provided by Student Leadership and Civic Engagement (SLCE) and hear Chancellor Miranda’s Service Day remarks.
Only 13 students can join so please RSVP if you are sure, you will be able to attend. Once you RSVP further information will be provided.
