Honors College Junior Creates Engineering Mentorship Program for Undergrads
Michelle Calcagno, an Honors College junior, is piloting a mentoring program that pairs undergraduate engineering students with retired civil engineers. One of the program's promising goals is to engender community building between students and retirees. With the support and sponsorship of Dr. Hossein Ataei, Calcagno hopes to extend the program through the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
