Student’s smile ‘could light up a room’
The UIC Honors College mourns the loss of Ruth George: student, classmate and friend. Ruthie was, in the words of her Honors College advisor, “friendly, passionate, and dedicated,” whose smile lit up the room and whose absence now darkens our community with sadness. All of us in the Honors College send our sincerest condolences to Ruth’s family, friends, classmates and instructors.
